Clement Steel Windows has an extensive history spanning
over a hundred years. Thomas Clement began the family’s
heritage of working with steel and glass when he worked on the
building of the Crystal Palace in London in 1851. This foundation
was developed by his four sons who went on to found Clement Brothers
Haslemere Ltd in 1928. Later becoming through a change of name
Clement Steel Windows, the company is the oldest run family
windows business in the U.K.
Over the succeeding years Clements have been involved with the
steel window and its components at every stage of development.
In 1964 the company’s Glass and Glazing department were
selected by Pilkington to install the very first ‘glas
to glas’ double glazed units.Continued expansion has resulted in the current multi-national
company employing nearly 200 people, manufacturing and supplying
steel windows and traditional Cast Rooflights internationally

Clement steel windows have been installed in some of

most famous and prestigious buildings including the London Ritz,
The Tower of London, London’s Playboy Club, Hampton Court
Palace, Windsor Castle, Victoria Railway Station, Trinity College
