Clements have made steel doors for over 100 years. These like their window systems are manufactured from hot rolled steel sections and therefore very similar in appearance.
Steel provides the most elegant slender sight lines of any framing material enabling architects and designers to achieve absolutely stunning effects in both external and internal applications. Narrow sight lines allow large areas of glass, solar gain and natural light are maximised. Doors are purpose made, unique shapes are a speciality, custom built not a problem.
Security
The inherent strength of steel frames, far exceeding that of wood, plastic or aluminum provide good security, and extra peace of mind. Further protection is supplied by the locking handle range operating a BS 7950 certified multi- point locking system. Glazed steel doors are fitted with a high security two hook and two roller locking system, which is designed to meet the requirements of PAS- 23 and PAS-24 and is complete with security hinges.
Clement steel doors are currently being considered for “Secured by Design” authority, having passed all the above tests. Research shows that being “Secured by Design” can reduce burglary by 50% and criminal damage by 25%.
