Manufacturing
With factories in the U.K. and mainland Europe Clements are
able to make any type of Steel Window or door. Constructed of
hot rolled mild steel sections these products are masterpieces
of engineering design made by highly skilled craftsman to the
latest specifications including ISO 9001.
Frames are manufactured by hand with corners mitred and welded
solid to form a true right angle, that is also flat and square.
Sub-dividing glazing bars are tenoned and riveted into frames,
welded as well, and then cleaned off. If required to match the
originals for replica windows, crossed glazing bars can be fenestra-locked
on certain types.
Composite windows are able to be formed by the use of coupling
sections from flat, box or tube shaped steel sections. Pressed
steel sills can be offered in a choice of profiles.
The vast majority of our steel windows and doors are hot dip
galvanised and polyester powder coated in a wide range of standard
colours. It is possible to have a different colour finish inside
to the one you have chosen for outside.
Extra features that include weather stripping, trickle ventilators
and additional security items are all available.
